23 Mar ,According to reports that a telephone call was received by Army officials about fire incident in a house belonging to Mohd Ashraf Sofi, Mohalla Sofipura, Suhipura. Army persons immediately rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control with the help of Fire Tenders. Subsequently First aid was provided to all at the incident including to a girl zamrooda 18 years, D/o Mohd Ashraf Sofi who had sustained burn injury in her right foot. During the incident, 60-75% of household goods including rations, clothing and utensils were burnt in the fire. Army also provided the necessary administrative assistances to the house owner, Mohd Ashraf Sofi who along with the locals thanked and appreciated the Army’s quick response and the assistance provided.
