(PDP) leader and former deputy chairman Legislative Council, Ghulam Nabi
Hajoora has castigated the government for failing to provide basic facilities
to the people.On his tour to Darwan, Nowgam, Kanidgan and Braripora of
Chara-e-Sharif constituency today, Lone said these areas are living in complete
darkness since the recent snowfall and the government has not any step to
restore electricity with the result people are facing huge hardships. Also many
villages like Pakherpora, Phatlipora Tchalyan and Watkhaloo are also without
the power supply.He said the soil erosion has caused considerable damage to the
residential hoses in Chopan Mohalla, Kanaidagan, Gabad and Hango and the
authorities have not taken alternate arrangements for sufferers who are living
in constant fear.
