NOVEMBER 30, INB NEWS:- Director
General of Prisons, Navin Agarwal, inaugurated the Jail Control Room in the
premises of Prisons Headquarters, Jammu. Speaking on the
occasion, Agarwal said that the purpose of establishing this control room is to
meet any eventuality in jails of Jammu and Kashmir which will function round
the clock. This will also help bridging the gap between Headquarters and jails
and monitor every activity of all prisons in the state thus ensuring better
coordination between the Prisons Headquarters and jails. Among those present on
the occasion were Mohd Sultan Lone, DIG Prisons, Javid Masood Fazili, Staff
Officer, G.M.Kar, Chief Accounts Officer, Technical Officer, Superintendent
District Jail Jammu, Superintendent Central Jail Jammu, Kot Bhalwal, and
