Srinagar, March 16: Two persons died and five others were
injured in a road accident in Awantipora this morning.A Tata Sumo bearing
registration number JK09/5813 on way from Jammu to Srinagar had an Accident
near Gurdawara, Awantipora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Awantipora
with an unknown vehicle, resulting in on spot death of Mohammad Sultan Mir son
of Mohammad Gulzar Mir resident of Batpora, Kralpora, Kupwara and Mohammad
Khalil Mir son of Mehda Mir resident of Rawatpora, Kupwara and injuries to five
other persons. Awantipora Police has registered a case in this regard.
