CUK along with 10 Central Universities begins admission process

Srinagar, Mar 18: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK), along with its 10 fellow Central Universities in other States has started admission process in various post-graduate programmes.The application forms, both online and hard copies along with prospectus, for the programmes offered in CUK, including Integrated B.A. LLB, M.A. English, M.A. Economics, M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics, M.A. Convergent Journalism, M.A. Urdu, M.A. Education, M.A. Tourism Management, M.A. Politics (International Relations) and M.Sc. Information Technology can be downloaded from the website www.cucet2013.co.in and obtained from the Transit Campus of the University at Sonawar, Srinagar against cash payment of Rs.100 respectively.The admission to the above programmes along with those offered by 10 participating Central Universities, would be made on the  basis of Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2013) to be conducted jointly by the Central Universities of Bihar, Jammu, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab & Orissa at various centres located across the country. Through the application form, the eligible candidates can apply for any of the programmes offered by the above Universities. The eligible students can apply for the programmes offered by all the 10 Central Universities, and appear in the Common Entrance Test at Srinagar. The applicants awaiting final result in qualifying examination can also apply.The admission details are: The deactivation of online application form for B.A-LLB is April 25, 2013 while as last date for receipt of offline applications form for B.A-LLB is April 30, 2013. The admit card for B.A-LLB can be downloaded till May 15, 2013.The last date for sale of offline application forms for PG Programmes is May 20, 2013 while as date for deactivation of online application form for PG Programmes is May 25, 2013. The last date for receipt of offline applications form for PG Programmes is May 30, 2013 and the admit card for PG programmes can be downloaded till June 13, 2013.The online entrance test for B.A-LLB has been fixed on May 18-19, 2013 and offline test is scheduled on May 19, 2013. The online test for PG programmes has been scheduled on June 15-16, 2013 while as offline test has been fixed on June 16, 2013.For further details, the students can also log onto CUK website, www.cukashmir.ac.in.
