MARCH 31: Results of raffle draw for prizes of Police Public
Mela were announced at Police Sports Stadium Gulshan Ground here this evening.
The draw was held in presence of large gathering of men, women and children.Small
children drawn from the gathering picked the lucky numbers for prizes of
different categories in presence of Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok
Prasad, Chairperson, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association, Mrs. Kiran
Prasad, senior police officers and lady members of police parivar.The first
prize five Santro Cars were won by raffle draw ticket numbers A-43230, B-31705,
C-15475, D-57093 and E-30382 ,2nd prize five Alto Cars-800
were bagged by
ticket number A-22199, B-17141, C-34753, D-03957 and
E-42207. The 3rd prize five Nano Cars were won by ticket number A-86801,
B-53642, C-18749, D-70265 and E-52377. 4th prize five Moor Cycles won by
A-34868, B-73475, C-52286, D-80155 and E-55337. Similarly the 5th prize five
Scooties went to raffle draw ticket numbers A-93828, B-03854, C-84351, D-31356
and E-09878. The 6th prize five Laptop Computers goes to ticket numbers
A-50671, B- 53311, C-36604, D-15348 and E-98155. The 7th prize five LCD TVs
goes to ticket numbers A-88572, B-21271, C-02668, D-19709 and E-46816. The 8th
prize five Tab won by
ticket numbers A-10056, B-87554, C-23770, D-10984 and E-49719. The 9th prize five AC.75
were bagged by ticket numbers A-85183, B-56630, C-12374, D-90832 and E-96663.
The 10th prize five Washing Machine were
bagged by ticket numbers A-35001, B-28110, C-04293,
D-95226 and E-78795. The 11th
Prize, five Rice
Cooker goes to
tickets Nos: A-47625, B-59490, C-43984, D-20169 and E-79758.Accordingly
50 Cash prizes of Rs. 1,000/- each goes to tickets with their last four digits
7757. Likewise 500 cash prizes of Rs.500/- goes to tickets having last three
digits 229 and the 5000 cash prizes of Rs.200/- goes to tickets having last two
digits 38.The Special Bumper Prize which includes one Nissan Micra has been
bagged by ticket No. A-38635.The Mela was attended by a large number of people
from all walks of life besides top ranks of JKP, lady members JKPWWA and
officers from civil administration. They showed great interest in the purchase
of goods put for sale by the stall holders. Visitors enjoyed entertainments
presented by various cultural groups. Children in colourful dresses had
thronged the venue early in the morning and enjoyed and amusement. Prasad
thanked the people for their massive participation in the day long Mela.
Several prizes were handed over to the prize winners on the spot, who were
present in the raffle draw. The other prize winners have been advised to
approach the AIG (Welfare) PHQ, along with original tickets to receive the
prizes during office hours.
