2 Dies, 10 injured in road mishaps


Srinagar, December 04: Two persons died and ten others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.A Truck bearing registration number Jk013/6568 and Tavera bearing registration number Jk013B/3552 collided at Frestbal, Awantipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pampore resulting in the death of a passengers Aasif Ahmad Guroo son of Abdul Rashid resident of Samar Bugh, Lasjan and injuries to six passengers. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Later on one of the injured Ghulam Mohudin Bhat son of Abdul Rashid resident of Shalla Kadal, Srinagar also succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura Srinagar. A case has been registered in this regard.A Tata mobile bearing registration number JK05C/2338 driven by Umer Khaliq son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Tuger, Sopore collided with a JCB driven by Irfan Ahmad Malla son of Mohammad Abdulla resident of Shatgund Payeen and a Tipper bearing registration number Jk09/3369. The driver of JCB Irfan Ahmad Malla and Tata Mobile driver Irfan Ahmad Malla and another person traveling in the JCB were injured. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.  A Truck bearing registration number Jk02AG/3342 hit and injured two pedestrians Khurshi wife of Ghulam Mohammad Malik and Abida daughter of Ghulam Nabi Rather resident of Waskura near Sumbal bridge, Ganderbal, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
