Mehfil-e-Mushaira Competition organized by District Police Doda

A Mehfil-e-Mushaira Competition was organized by District Police Doda at Town Hall Doda under Civic Action Programme 2012-13.  About 13-15 Kashmiri /Urdu Poet attended the Mushaira and presented their literary / Poetic works.  A large number of respectable citizens and students attended the Mushaira.  D.C Doda Sh. Farooq Ahmed Khan was Chief Guest on the occasion.  SP Doda Sh. Mohammed Arif Rishu presided over the function. SP Doda also spoke on the occasion and exhorted upon general public / youth to assist District Police in eradication of crime from society.  He stated that through these programmes, a message of peace and harmony is being spread and gaps between Police and Civil Society are narrowed down. SP Doda said that the Poetic Sections  of the Society can be of immense help for Police to bridge the gap between Police and Public SP Doda also distributed consolation prizes among the participating Poets.  The Mushaira competition was also attended among others by Dy SP Hqrs. Doda, Dy SP DAR DPL Doda and officers from Civil administration also.
