Disaster Preparedness Training Programme held at IMPA

DECEMBER 18, INB NEWS KASHMIR: -A Disaster Preparedness Training Programme organized by Divisional Disaster Management was held at Institute of Management and Public Administration here today.In the training programme about 31 KAS probationers of batch 2011 participated and were acquainted with various disaster management techniques on the occasion.On the occasion, various precautionary and safety measures regarding gas leakage, fire incidents and other natural and manmad disasters were demonstrated through PowerPoint presentation besides a live demonstration of rescue equipments used in Fire and Emergency Services was also presented.Among others, Officer on Special Duty to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr. Aamir Ali, Course Coordinator IMPA, Dr. Jehan Ara Jabeen, Dr.Samia Jabeen, Joint Director Fire and Emergency Services, Mr. R T Dobay, Dr. I P S Bali, Secretary Red Cross, Senior officer sales HPCL, Mr Haroon Hameed,  besides trainers Sartaj Ahmad, Abdul Gaffar and Shakeel Ahmad  were present on the occasion.
