Mr. Shantmanu reviews election arrangements in South Kmr DIG South Kashmir,Micro Observers and other officers attended the meeting

DECEMBER 02,INB NEWS KASHMIR : - Election Observer for Legislative Council Elections, Mr. Shantmanu today reviewed election arrangements in separate meetings held at Anantnag and Kulgam.At Anantnag, District Election Officer apprised the Observer about the arrangements made for smooth 

conduct of election on December 03, 2012. He was informed that 2216 voters which include 1573 male and 643 female voters will exercise their franchise. On the occasion, the Observer stressed upon the polling staff to remain objective in the process of election. At Kulgam, the District Election Officer gave details about the election arrangements being put in and informed the Observer that 1208 voters including 350 female voters shall exercise their franchise at 10 polling booths established in the district. He was also informed that pooling staff has been deployed to their respective destinations.The Observer was also informed that suitable arrangements for security have been made in the twin districts. DIG South Kashmir, Micro Observers and other civil and police officers attended the meeting.
