IED defused in Tral

December 11,INB NEWS KASHMIR: -A tragedy was averted when Awantipora police detected and defused an IED in Tral.Awantipora police detected an IED on Tral – Mandoora road at Mandoora, Tral today. The Bomb Disposal Squad of Awantipora police was pressed into services who defused the IED on spot. Tral police has registered a case in this regard.Meanwhile, some pedestrians found a suspicious substance that posed like an IED at a road side at Thajiwara, Achabal. Anantnag Police sealed the area and restricted the traffic on the road. The Bomb disposal Squad of Anantnag police was called in. It later turned out to be a hoax. The traffic was later restored in the area.
