11,INB NEWS KASHMIR: -Ramban Police today achieved a success when a
Police party of Police Station Ramban recovered a kidnapped minor girl from
Tangmarg, Gulmarg area of Kashmir who was kidnapped from her residence at Ghari
Kumaid, Rajgarh of District Ramban.Reports said that on 05-12-2012, a written
complaint was lodged at Police Station Ramban that one minor girl namely Guddi
(Name Changed) was kidnapped by one Javed Ahmed S/o Mangta Ganai R/o Thatha,
Rajgarh who is serving in Police Dept. as SPO and was on leave. He took her to
Gulmarg area of Kashmir with the intention to marry her forcibly.On this
complaint, a case FIR No. 179/2012 u/s 363/343 RPC was registered at Police
Station Ramban and a team was constituted. The team rushed to Kashmir to
recover the minor girl and finally recovered the kidnapped girl from Tangmarg,
Gulmarg.Both, the accused and kidnapped girl were brought back to Ramban. The
minor girl was handed over to her parents after completing legal formalities
and the accused Javed Ahmed was arrested and disengaged from service.
