NEWS KASHMIR :-,Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Mubarak Gul today reviewed the
functioning of Chief |Minister’s Grievance Cell, during a surprise visit.The
Advisor was informed that grievance cell has so far received 18,354 complaints
of different nature, pertaining to various departments, out of which 17,404 has
been disposed off and 950 are pending with various departments.He was also
informed that the complaints are being disposed off very promptly and the
officers on ground level are responding satisfactorily.Mr. Gul said that the
grievance cell has become an important portal for registering complaints with
the Chief Minister. He said that Chief Minister was himself monitoring the
complaints received from the public and is keen to see it successful
functioning.The Advisor instructed the officers on phone to submit status
report of the complaints being forwarded to them by the Cell within 15 days
positively. He directed them to monitor the complaints personally and visit the
places if complaints call for such actions.
