Srinagar, March 16: Police recovered a body from Lidder
river in Pahalgam area of Anantnag District last evening. Pahalgam Police
recovered a body of 45 year’s old Lahanu Chowdary son of Moti Ram Prassad
resident of Tegrag, Dahang, Nepal from river Lidder near Tool Post, Pahalgam,
in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pahalgam, Anantnag. He was working in
Nathus Rasowyee, Pahalgam and was reportedly absconding since 14-03-2013. The
body of deceased is lying in Phalagam hospital. Police has initiated inquest
proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
