JAMMU,
MARCH 30- Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather today
released the 7th edition of the Annual telephone directory of Current News
Service for 2013-14 in the lawns of Civil Secretariat Jammu. A large number of
journalists belonging to both print and electronic media were present on the
occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rather said that CNS is doing Yeoman’s
service by providing information to the people by compiling telephone numbers
of various government as well as private establishments.He said the Editor in
Chief Current News Service (CNS) Mr Rashid Rahih has made a mark in the field
of journalism by objectively carrying out his professional duties. He said that
Mr Rahi has courageously reported during the darkest phase of turmoil in the
State.Mr. Rather has appreciated the efforts of CNS and wished their team a
better and prosperous future. Farooq Ahmad Rather, CNS Bureau Chief South
Kashmir and Mohammad Yaseen, CNS Bureau Chief Srinagar was also present on this
occasion.
