Srinagar, March 14: One person died and another was injured
in two separate road accidents in the valley.A vehicle bearing registration
number HR-680749 0f 25-Bn CRPF hit and injured a pedestrian, 70 years old Ama
Chopan son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Fresdab, Charar-e-Sharief, Budgam
near Slick factory Solina, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Shergari,
Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Srinagar where he succumbed to his
injuries. Police Shergari has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a
Maruti car bearing registration number JK03B/8142 and a Qualis car bearing
registration number Jk02N/4861 had a collision near Damjan Qazigund, Kulgam, in
the jurisdiction of Police Qazigund, resulting in injuries to Maruti driver
Gull Mohammad son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Sopat, Kulgam. The injured has
been shifted to hospital for treatment. Qazigund Police has registered a case
in this regard.
