Srinagar, March 18: Some unidentified persons assaulted with
the attempt to murder one Mansoor Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Rahim resident of
Shah Mohallah Achabal, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Achabal,
resulting in injuries to the said person. The injured was shifted to hospital
for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.Mean while reports
reaches that Fire broke out in the cowshed of Showkat Ahmad son of Abdul Ahad
Mir resident of Gund Machier, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police station
Sogam, resulting in damage to the roof of the cowshed. However, no loss of life
or injury was reported in this incident. Cause of fire is being ascertained. In
another incident, during the intervening night of 17/18.03.2013, fire broke out
in the house of Wali Mohammad Bhat and Abdul Hamid Bhat son of Abli Bhat
resident of Rather Mohalla, Kuligam, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police
station Lalpora, resulting in partial damage to the house. However, no loss of
life or injury was reported in this incident.
