VK Singh takes over ADG Security, warm send off to Ram Lubhaya




MARCH 31: V. K. Singh IPS (1987-batch) took over as Additional Director General of Police (Security) J&K here today. On his arrival at Security Headquarters he was received by senior police officers. Mr. Singh has served in different capacities in the state including SSP Srinagar, Budgam, Director SSG, IGP CIV/Training at Police Headquarters, besides central agencies. After assuming the charge, the ADGP interacted with the officials, who apprised him about their duties. Earlier, the officers of Security Wing and other officers from other Wings of the Organization gave warm send off to Dr. Ram Lubhaya at a function held at Security Headquarter in his honour. On the occasion, the speakers highlighted the contribution of Dr. Ram Lubhaya, during his 28 years long service in Jammu and Kashmir Police. VK Singh appreciated the efforts of Dr. Ram Lubhaya for improving the functioning of Security Wing as also his ability to lead the team successfully. Among others, the function was attended by IGP (Security) J&K, Sunil Kumar Sharma, DIsGP, SK Gupta and MM Sadiq, SsSP, Amjad Prvaiz Mirza, Hilal Ahmed, Mohammad Yousuf, RP Chalotra, Ashok Kumar and MA Tak, SsP, Maqsood-u-Zaman, TR Katoch and AL Dogra and other police officers.
