Srinagar, March 14: Police Anantnag has arrested a person involved in ATM fraudulent transaction case here on yesterday morning.On 25-11-2012 one unknown person changed ATM card of Ghulam Mohi-u-Din Dar son of Mohammad Subhan Dar resident of Bangdar, Anantnag while making a transaction at ATM located at Janglat Mandi, Anantnag. The accused fraudulently withdrawn Rs. 3, 97000 rupees from different ATM’s located in Anantnag town.In this connection a case FIR No 380/12 under section 420, 380 RPC was registered in police station Anantnag. On 13-03-2013 police station Anantnag arrested one Gulzar Ahmad Bakloo son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Pushroo Achabal. During the course of investigation an amount of Rs.3, 70,000 was recovered from his possession.The arrest of ATM case accused in town Anantnag has been highly appreciated by public particularly by the affected families. Anantnag police station solved three such cases in last two months. The work of police is highly appreciated in the area
