MARCH 16: In order to curb the illegal use of domestic LPG cylinders, Assistant
Director, CA&PD, Bandipora along with a team of his officials raided
various hotels and restaurants in Bandipora Tehsil during which 20 violators
were fined Rs. 14000 on the spot. One cylinder was also confiscated by the
team. The traders on this occasion were cautioned against for the use of
domestic cylinders. The Gas Companies have been asked that to issue domestic
cylinders to hotel establishments or to issue commercial cylinders without
proper bill to these establishments
